Research interest:
His main research interest is plant stress biology including the genetic basis and molecular mechanisms of salinity-tolerance, drought-tolerance and low sulfur-tolerance ets; elucidating biological functions of glutathione (GSH) and regulatory mechanisms of GSH synthesis and degradation in higher plants and their application in agriculture.
Research projects:
Current research projects are sponsored by “973”, “863” Programs of Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology, Rockefeller Foundations, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and NSFC.
